  35. Did you set the port in any way while you were in kermit? In other words
  36. if you change the baud rate or the flow control settings while you are in
  37. kermit they will revert back to their default settings when you exit
  38. kermit. This might then make anything else received appear to be
  39. corrupted, or hang up or break the RS232 connection.
